ALL Sixth Graders are encouraged to join this club sport. The program teaches the fundamentals of tennis groundstrokes, volleys, and sportsmanship to beginning players in the sixth grade at each of the seven Ann Arbor Public Schools that have sixth graders. To register, go to Swing Hit & Ace and choose your school. Registration is online only and is required.
Beginning the week of April 21, sessions will be 3:20-4:35pm on the tennis courts at each school, except for Slauson, which will be held at West Park Tennis courts. The sessions are FREE and open to all sixth graders, but 7th and 8th graders are welcome too at some of the schools. For school-specific info, go to Information for Parents & Players.
