The things we do...
Sixth-Grade Tennis Program
For over 15 years, AAACTA has offered a free tennis program in all Ann Arbor public middle schools. The season wraps up -- memorably -- with a Ralleyball Tournament at UM Varsity Tennis Center. Almost 200 kids participate.
Ann Arbor City Tennis Tournament
Since 2000, AAACTA has planned the Ann Arbor City Tournament, one of the oldest city tennis tournaments in the country, established in 1919. On the final day of the tournament AAACTA celebrates with Town Tennis -- an all-city, all-fun afternoon of Kids Clinics, free food, and final competition viewing.
Charity Events
AAACTA has raised nearly $15,000 for other organizations by hosting charity tennis events to benefit Hurricane Katrina victims and the Haiti Nursing Foundation.
Volunteers
AAACTA provides volunteers for tournaments & tennis events.
Spreading the Word, Sharing the Fun
AAACTA emails info about local tennis events and news to over 1,000 local tennis lovers. Other services: AAACTA Advantage newsletter, Directory of Summer Tennis Programs for Juniors, and Find-A-Partner.
